About Hilperton Area Action Group (HAAG)

The identity of Hilperton as a village is under threat as never before, with a planning proposal for 2,600 houses situated around the North East side of the village.

At some stage in the very near future, Wiltshire Council will review the Trowbridge town council local plan, with public engagement. But if there are no objections, the plans to build these homes will be adopted.

Hilperton Area Action Group (HAAG) has been formed to gather information and form plans to actively support objection opportunities.

HAAG is a ’working group’ of Hilperton Parish Council. As such it has the full and financial support of the council.

Our aim is simple: to provide readers with a reliable source of information. Our website has links to relevant council documents to help guide you to relevant information regarding proposals and proceedings. (Hilperton is also referred to as North Trowbridge by Trowbridge Town council.)

Our hope is this group will grow in strength and depth with your support.
