Plans for a Staverton By-pass ?

Atkins who are highway consultants for Wiltshire Council have designed a possible by-pass for the Staverton river crossing and have received a small grant for the scoping of this plan. Further extensive funding would be required to complete any bypass. As can be seen this route would only serve to bypass the bridge to avoid the pinchpoint there and would not relieve the traffic problems beyond the limited bypass.
