Revised Plan
Redcliffe Homes have submitted a revised planning application PL/2022/07977. There are some changes in the design and position of some of the houses. The overall site has not changed and still does not comply with the Trowbridge Bat Mitigation Strategy which would require a buffer on both sides of the development of 30m. There is a revised Ecologist report which has more detail but there is insufficient detail of the impact of lighting on the bats. The original objections to this development are all valid, that it is premature, until the Local Plan is agreed and it provides a gateway to further development to the North. There appears to be a further road access from the western end of the plan into the fields as well as the main highway.
