AFTER STORM HENK

On the 4th January the extreme weather resulted in flooding in Hilperton Parish:

·       Church St was flooded at the Knap and water surrounded one property

·       Marsh Rd 4 houses were flooded and others surrounded

·       Whaddon Lane the road was blocked beyond the canal bridge; one vehicle had to be towed out. One house had some internal flooding

FLOOD PLAN NEEDED

Hilperton Parish Council agreed on 16th January. HAAG is going to set this up.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Flood wardens in the 3 areas affected*

Flood Coordinators

First Aider in case of emergency
