maxcroftfarm.co.uk

Unable to properly access the Barrett plans as navigation is poor almost one would think to the point of obsfucation. Will of course attend tonight after work at village hall. What i have seen is that there is no attempt to mitigate the loss of the surface/rainwater drainage attenuation provided the green fields at Maxcroft Farm. Something we as Marsh Road residents are most aware of the need for to manage surface water which drains through our properties in drainage ditch for which we are all responsible for maintaining. There is a great deal of concern that the buffer space adjoing Marsh Road through which the ditch also passes before entering the culvert under the roundabout is firstly not shown…

Thanks for your comment, very helpful. I did ask about the plans for flooding and they do show 2 SUDS at the front and back of the proposed development that you will see. I didnt realise that there was a culvert under the roundabout but it maintenance is very important. I attend the operational flood group and will report it to them. Do you have any pictures of any problems with the water draining. Also I did ask about the screening for the houses at Maxcroft Lane and whether there would be a buffer as the new build looked very close. There are lots more things to discuss, are you able to come to one of our meetings next on…
