"On 21st November 2023, a hearing will take place at County Hall, Trowbridge, to determine whether Footpath 54, a right of way allowing access from the Albert and Queen Victoria Road end of The Gap in Hilperton to Elizabeth Way, should be closed. A present, developers are seeking an Order that this right of way is closed and the footpath re-routed closer to the main road.

Anyone who has an interest in this Order can apply to the Planning Inspectorate to attend either in person or remotely. Permission to attend virtually must be obtained in advance of the hearing date by either telephoning Helen Sparks on 0303 444 5646 or emailing her on helen.sparks@planninginspectorate.gov.uk. Arrangements can be made to view the documents and statements of case by appointment only by telephoning 01225 756178 or emailing Ali Roberts at definitivemap@wiltshire.gov.uk"
